Polished Vinyl Flooring Cleaning
Polished Vinyl Flooring is Sheet Vinyl that is a continuous large surface area designed to have a protective sealer applied after installation, this protective surface is burnished to create a glossy hard shell that absorbs abrasive damage to vinyl underneath.
It can be maintained for extended periods with abrasive floor pads, and topical maintenance products.
Polished vinyl requires periodic stripping and re application of sealer when it had become too damaged and soiled to be restored with routine maintenance.

Textured Vinyl Floor Cleaning
Usually in tile or plank form, such as:
- Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP)
- Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT)
- Vinyl Composition Tile (VCT)
- Wood Plastic Composite (WPC)
- Stone Plastic Composite (SPC)
Vinyl tiles often mimic natural stone or wood grain, as well as a huge range of synthetic finishes.
Vinyl is very hard wearing as well as non-slip, and commonly doesn’t require any protective sealer as they are manufactured with a protective coating and designed to be used in their natural state.
However over time, this layer wears down, and the tiles can be sealed as they age to extend their effective use and appearance.
Once sealed, it is significantly more problematic to effectively remove and re apply sealer than on Sheet Vinyl due to the textured surface.
Periodic cleaning and maintenance is essential to remove the soiling that builds up in the textured surface, this is from daily mopping residues of cleaning product and dissolved soiling.
Vinyl tiles with excessive soiling and residue build up can become very slippery, especially when it is raining outside and wet footwear comse into contact with the floor..
We have an extensive range of brushing, scrubbing and extraction equipment to clean, restore and maintain all types of vinyl, and keep it safe, hygienic and beautiful.
